Annual Report 2005-2006

Historian and Webmaster

The membership pages on the website are being updated as of summer 2006.   Another review & update will be conducted prior to the 2007 meeting.   Any changes or discrepancies should be reported to me, & I’ll see that they are promptly dealt with.

There has been little activity other than a few additions to the links, and an update of the officers.

Although a year ago there were some suggestions to modernize the site, there were no concrete proposals, & the groundswell of discontent has seemingly abated, so I see no reason to change the site.

There have been 4903 visitors to the site.  Since I have so little else to report, I call your attention to the fact that this represents 1845 since the last meeting, or 4.21 per day.

Thanks are due to Ms Kristen Cota, who does the actual work rapidly & accurately.

As historian, I note that there have been no investigations launched of our CEO accepting favors from lobbyists, although I also note that he is stepping down.    Fortunately, we sponsor no intercollegiate athletics.

There is a notice of our forthcoming meeting in Little Rock, which will be updated as plans progress..   If you click on the Peabody link, you will find some charming ducks.   The local arrangements committee has promised to bleach these ducks & train them to say “AFLAC”
